As I look back on the numerous accomplishments and growth of the Child Welfare PAC over the last 5 years, my heart just swells with pride and gratitude for all our members and supporters who have contributed to it. We have and continue to provide real life expertise on improving post care outcomes, participate in high level research on youth, and relentlessly advocate on policy development and real systemic change.

Congratulations to the Child Welfare PAC for all they have achieved in the last five years. We know the cost of tuition can deter many young people from pursuing their dreams. By listening to the voices of young people with lived experience in the child welfare system, the Child Welfare PAC is making progress in key areas of research, policy, and legislation. We look forward to continuing to work together toward improved outcomes for young people across Ontario in the years to come.

PART is thrilled to be an ally of the Child Welfare PAC. We share the PAC's desire to create a system based on evidence-based practices and policies. We appreciate the PAC's focus on using high quality research in their advocacy work and their vision to ensure a bright future for youth involved with the child welfare system. PART is excited to watch the PAC continue to grow and change this system for the better. We should all be so thankful for the work the PAC does in our communities!

The Child Welfare PAC has done a tremendously successful job ensuring tuition free access to secondary education for a great number of young people raised in care. Young people whose trajectory might have otherwise been very different. They have also spearheaded very much needed privacy legislation that limits access to files on people who have been in care.

Their passionate commitment to children and youth, and their proven record of driving real systemic change is instrumental in improving the conditions that result in better life outcomes for kids. The PAC’s ground-breaking work in bringing about legislative changes and cross-sector collaboration is inspiring, and their advocacy for child-right’s driven approaches are critical.
