Paige Penlington

Paige Penlington is a former crown ward, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree with a major in Sociology at Laurentian University thanks to the tuition waivers. Penlington spent time as a youth advocate with YouthCan; advocated for tuition free education for former youth in care since she was 15, after learning of the harrowing outcomes that face former youth in care of Ontario. Thriving with C-PTSD and having several friends from care die of suicide, Penlington advocates mental health awareness, as well as privacy rights for former youth in care. Penlington works as a support worker for behavioral needs in her hometown.
