Kristy Denette

Kristy Denette spent more than five years in foster care in Alberta and British Columbia, until she was 17 years old. She graduated from journalism school at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in Calgary in 2006 before spending eight years as a general assignment reporter/editor at Sun Media newspapers in Edmonton and Toronto. Currently, Denette works in media relations and lives in Mississauga.
