Dr. Amy Coté

Amy Coté entered the child welfare system at 13, and was adopted several years later. She believes that youth in care deserve support, resources, and opportunities, and that stories of success after care shouldn’t be anomalies. In particular, she’s an advocate for increased access to post-secondary education for former youth in care. Amy recently completed her Doctorate in English literature at the University of Toronto.
