Carina Chan

Carina is a former youth in care who grew up in Toronto. She graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in 2011, and Master of Social Work and Juris Doctor degrees in 2015. Carina works as a lawyer at a boutique family law firm in Toronto, with part of her practice focused on representing children and youth in child protection matters. In addition, she is currently a member of the Children's Aid Foundation's Youth Engagement Task Force and is passionate about advocating for children and youth from care on a systemic level.
